Frequently Asked Questions

What is Liquid Media, and what does it do?
The product is aimed at multimedia presentations, similar to Power Point, with added features which appeal to video marketers and creators like multiple movies playing simultaneously with effects/cross fades, titling etc. It also has native 3D objects built in, which gives a whole new arena to 'grab' the attention in marketing and business presentations. Another key feature (although by the sounds you haven't experienced this) is that it has smooth playback, most of the other products of a similar nature I have used have had rough movement and slow effects. We have also designed LM to be as easy to use as possible, everything is WYSIWYG.

What media & file type support can LM use?
All media files that Windows supports are also supported by LM, along with most common graphics formats.
How can I optimize my computer for Liquid Media?
As with any software, LMs performance depends on the speed of your machine, the amount of memory it has, and the amount of other programs that are running at the same time. The type of graphics card that is used is also a big issue. To get the maximum smoothness and speed out of Liquid Media, there are certain things to keep in mind. What does Liquid Media save out to?
Liquid Media has two proprietary formats called single-file and multi-file formats. Liquid Media can also "publish" to a CD-Menu, a stand alone executable file, HTML web slides and templates. Liquid Media can also render AVI movies of your presentations. Click here to find out more.
Why save out AVI's?
The Creation of AVI files serves two purposes, the first being; if a scene in a presentation becomes too complicated with many objects, playing back may be slow, and rough. By creating an AVI of the scene, it will then playback a lot smoother and more actors can then be layered on top. The other purpose is for creating single file AVI's which can either be distributed or streamed over the net.
