Timeline Toolbar

The timeline is the simplest way to design the timing within your presentation.
When you select one or more actors they each appear as a bar in the timeline.

Use the timeline to:

  • View any point in time within the scene using the time slider.
  • Drag an entire path to set when it will begin
  • Resize segments to increase/decrease their time
  • Add, split and delete segments
  • Hide and show segments
  • Add 'wait' periods between segments
Control Description
  • Time Slider
    		•  Lets you manually play the presentation / view a point in time within the presentation.
  • Context Menu
    		•  (right click on a bar) functions for changing an actors path
  • Magnify
    		•  Selects the zoom level within the timeline.
  • Scrollbars
    		•  Adjust the vertical and horizontal viewing position

     

    Timeline Context Menu

    Right click on an actor's path in the timeline to get to this menu.

    Add New Segment Adds a new segment after the currently selected segment.
    Split Segment Splits the segment into two.
    Delete Segment

    Deletes the selected segment
    Hide Actor in this Segment Makes the actor invisible for the length of the selected segment
    Show Actor in this Segment Makes the actor visible for the length of the selected segment
    Add a wait Adds a wait segment
    Hide at the end When the actor finishes its path it will be hidden from view.
    Hide before start This actor will be hidden until the path starts.
